Breakthrough

Kath has succeeded in finding a foster mare and, after some negotiation, getting her to accept Olly. What a relief! Chris and I went to visit and see how they were getting on.

We also sneaked in for a cuddle of the Labrador pups who currently reside in one of the loose boxes. Thankfully they are all sold! That's right you two. They're not for sale.

I know they're cute Chris but no.

Kath, put down the pup!

I am so happy that little Olly found a mom :), they look so natural together.
I can't believe you got out of there without a Lab puppy though!

Thanks. We're all so relieved and now Kath can claim a bit of her life back!

I'm still checking pockets for puppies!

What a blessing that Kath found a 'mom' for Olly! And what a wonderful job she did of caring for him until his new mom was located...

Hi Jenny - what a happy ending to such a sad story. Kath must be greatly relieved. Love the video of them together.

Thank you Tammy and Nancy for your kind words! It is now September, and Olly and Lucky are doing remarkably well despite the weather! I have a photo of Fizz by my laptop at home, and can remember the good times we had. She was an awesome horse, would have followed me to the end of the earth if I'd asked her to.
Oliver is a very hansome chap, and is now turning dark bay just like his Mum. He is very sensible - just like both his parents - and I cant wait for him to develope!
