Escaping Sheep Again!

This morning as I began to groom the horses I looked up to a familiar sound. My entire flock were trotting along the track to the stable yard looking very pleased with themselves! Needless to say that I have been doing a spot of fence patching this morning. Here are most of the lambs on their return home.

Jenny ~ your pictures don't even LOOK like photographs. They look like PAINTINGS!! Absolutely stunning. I hope that everyone who reads your blog clicks to enlarge the photos...

I was out until 10PM putting my moms and lambs back where they belong as well. At least I was trying to put them back! It seems it's always one ewe that makes the escape possible. In my case it was Dazzle. Who did NOT earn any points with me! I finally gave up and just left them be where they wanted to be since they were still within the main perimeter fencing. Ticks me off though...

Want a pretty little flecket ewe???

;-)

Sheepies look as if they're having fun! We have a few wanderers around here too Jenny, and not to adverse to polishing the veggies off if they can get at them!

Your sheep must have the most scenic view in the world; why would they ever want to roam? (I know; the grass is always greener.... :-)
