Forest Hideaway

We're enjoying living up here in Scotland. Our little house is perfectly nice... but it's a bit expensive... and a bit over looked... and there's no space for things that we like... like veggies... and flowers... or a little fire pit to relax by in an evening.

A few miles along a track, into the middle of the forest, we've made some very nice friends in Diane, Sam and Hannah, and now Dino, Ali and Bob. They have a tiny little community all of their own... and it just so happens that Dino and Ali also have a little cottage that is just waiting for new inhabitants who will embrace the spirit of the place, and enjoy living there...

gazing at the view over Jura...

and laughing at the antics of the goats...

could that be us...?

I would also like to move in there! Naturally I would fit right in since I am a beautiful goat! Goat kisses from Isobelle across the sea!

Sounds loverly! But don't count on flowers and a garden with goats around....

ha haa, no you're right Michelle. I think keeping them out is a bit of an arms race: human vs goat!

looks gorgeous but think of the winter too.....if there's no insulation can u put some in & a log burner or something

Thanks for the advice Rose. Thankfully we've considered that. It has recently been fully insulated and has a log burning stove which heats both the building and the water. There is a new kitchen being fitted and the new bathroom (well, loo, sink and shower) are already in. Only winter prob will be the track in snow and ice!!!
